Testing the features, functionality and
performance of a system before processing live volume is key. Many
operations installing a new system or updating to a newer version of
software often overlook testing. When hardware and software are not
properly and thoroughly tested, the customer and the company is put at
risk. FTP offers three testing alternatives.

Level
1
FTP will develop test cases to ensure the software’s compliance with the
functional specification. Included in the delivery are a test case
description, individual test scripts
and matrix for documenting the test results. Each test case is customized
to the client’s specific functional specification.

Level
2
This level includes the test cases described in Level 1 plus a consultant
on site for two days to support the testing effort. The on-site consultant
will review the test scripts, provide instruction on how to complete the
tests and document the results and provide hands-on support in performing
the tests while on-site. |

Level
3
FTP will develop the test cases and stay on-site to provide
support throughout the entire testing process. FTP’s role in
the testing is that of monitor, providing documentation and
offering guidance. Representatives of the client’s staff
take an active participation role in the testing with
assistance from FTP. |
